Can we continue and let the Bush Administration undermine, and make a mockery of the U.S Constitution? The answer is no. The case against Bush is too strong to just go away without an investigation. Below are six strong cases that the House Judiciary Committee should look into a.s.a.p. Most of these Bush administration mishaps violate the supreme law of the land, our U.S. Constitution:- 2003 Invasion of Iraq- Violates War Powers Clause(Article I, Section 8) and Article VI of the Constitution.
- NSA Warantless Surveillance- Bush ordered wiretapping of international calls without proper warrants. Violates Fourth Amendment of Constitution.
- Abu Ghraib torture and prison abuse- Violates Geneva Convention Laws, and certain U.S. and International laws involving military detainees and torture.
- Possible leaking of CIA agents ( Scooter Libby scandal)
- Mishandling of Hurricane Katrina- enough said
- Abuse of War Powers Act
In addition you can also throw in the formation of the Patriot Act, which is unconstitutional in many areas. Also, the 2000 presidential election ballots in Florida, and the 2004 presidential election ballots in Ohio raised some concern among many lawmakers and politicians. The list goes on and on, I just don't have enough patience to list every mishap.
A major problem with the push for impeachment is that it is more of an individual push; rather than a collective one. This is extremely evident within Congress. Many members of Congress have made valid attempts to bring impeachment upon Bush, but, they are never able to pull any congressional momentum in their efforts. Now that the Democrats control both chambers of Congress, it would be wise to come together and bring Bush down. Unfortunately, there is one major problem with the Democratic Party: they are pussies! If you didn't get that the first time, I will reiterate it for you, The Democratic party is full of pussies! After the Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi backed down from her recent interest in pursuing a case for impeachment, the rest of the Democratic Party followed, like a line of dominoes.
Every twenty years or so, A president comes along and changes the way we think about politics. JFK did it in the 60's, Ronald Reagan did it in the 80's, and George Bush has definitely done it in the new millennium. As a black male living in America, I have never fully trusted our government, but, I always kept good faith, and realized that everything in life has its good and bad aspects. A majority of Americans feel the same way, but, the Bush Administration has created a new distrust in our government. Scandals, lies, and deceit has been a common theme for the past seven years. I addition there has been numerous resignations and terminations in the Bush era, most commonly known is the resignation of Donald Rumsfeld. Even though Bush has only a year left in his term, and if impeached, Dick "Trigger Happy" Cheney would become our president, I believe that seeing Bush impeached would change the current psyche of American politics; Americans would put their faith back into the government, realizing that they have our best interest at heart. It's time for a change. These government officials need to be reminded of who got them their jobs. Us, we, the citizens, the voters; we got them their jobs. If they want to act like children, then, we shall treat them like children. Sometimes children need discipline, in order to remind them that there are consequences for their actions. When disciplined, it teaches the child that positive things create a greater good for society. Just as Ivan Pavlov's experiment taught dogs that positive actions create positive reinforcements. But I wonder, If the authoritative figures are the ones misbehaving like children; who shall be the authoritative figures to discipline them?

What offends us doesn't matter, because we've always been opposed to Bush since day one. What could he do that would offend even the 28% of America that still supports him?
By the way . . . Wasn't Bush supposed to attack Iran with bunker buster nuclear bombs this spring, unintentionally (or callously) spreading nuclear radiation across much of the Middle East and Europe?
